A focus on quality of care is paramount to achieving top rankings among private health care providers.  Another selling point for Kaiser Permanente’s Colorado health plans is the size of their network.  Because the company serves more than half a million members in the state, they work hard to ensure that their provider network is second to none.

It is no coincidence that Kaiser Permanente scores so high among Colorado health plans.  Here are some of the recent statistics that back this up:

•         Compared to other heart attack patients, Kaiser Permanente’s heart attack patients in Colorado have reduced their risk of dying within ten years of a heart attack by 76 percent.
